What is the fee for service?

The fee is $180 per 60-minute session.

Payment types: e-transfer and credit card.

Direct billing provided to Blue Cross and Green Shield. 

We believe cost should not be a barrier to accessing therapy. Sliding scale can be provided to limit financial barriers.

Will my health insurance cover therapy?

BraveMind Therapy Services are provided by Registered Social Workers (RSW). Please contact your insurance provider to verify what your coverage is for mental health services in advance of your first session. Payment is made at the end of each session. You will receive an official receipt by email with the information required to submit your insurance claim.


BraveMind Therapy Services does not offer direct billing (aside from Blue Cross & Green Shield) but we will be happy to provide you with anything you need to submit to your insurance company directly.

How do I know if it's the right fit? Free Consultations

BraveMind Therapy offers a free 20-minute phone consultation to ensure you feel comfortable with your therapist and to help decide if you are a good fit.

In our 20-minute free phone consultation you can explore and identify: 

  • Your presenting concerns and goals 

  • Your past experiences with therapy

  • Ask questions to better understand the therapist's approach and modalities for therapy 

  • Inquire about session fees and insurance coverage

Virtual or in person?

For the health, safety, and well-being of our clients, we will continue to offer virtual appointments by video or phone through a secure platform.
In person sessions can be accommodated when video or phone may not be possible, or based on client needs. In the case of in-person sessions, all health and safety protocols/screening must be followed before each therapy session.
